What reference do I need?

The required image slot is labeled Face reference and uses face-reference as its maker. Bring a clear portrait or saved face reference; Sema can make a reference first, and can reuse a readable identity sheet. The internal identity-sheet key does not mean you must create the larger identity sheet or a body reference for this chest-up portrait.

What does it cost?

One 3:4 headshot with one reference costs 4 credits at the standard quality tier. Making a face reference first is separately priced. More references, another quality tier or a revision can change the total, so review Sema's quote for the actual generation before approving.

Can I download my result?

Yes. You can download the completed headshot as an image and choose where to use it. The tool does not upload it to LinkedIn, update your company page or guarantee that a site's crop or image rules will accept it.

Can I revise the result?

Yes. Tell Sema what to adjust, such as the outfit or framing. A revision uses an existing result as a reference and receives a new quote before generation. It is not free retouching, and another generation still needs your likeness check.

How are my uploaded photos handled?

Editing-job uploads are deleted after the job completes, success or failure. Photos attached to Sema are kept while that conversation exists and released when detached or when the conversation is deleted. Private results remain stored for your gallery and recovery. Private images and personal uploads are not used to train models; source images and prompts are processed by OpenAI for generation. See the privacy policy for the distinct retention rules.

Which photos are suitable?

Use one adult with the full face visible and large enough to recognize. A group shot, hidden face or tiny distant face is declined. A head-and-shoulders phone photo is enough to begin; the source does not need a suit, professional camera or studio backdrop.

Will it look exactly like me?
