A tall palm tree rises from a windswept sand dune, its entire crown forming one open human hand built from plant material, countable at a glance as exactly five fronds: a short broad thumb-blade angles outward from the near lower side of the crown, and above it four finger-blades fan upward as index, middle, ring and little fingers, the middle finger-blade the tallest. Each of the five blades is one solid green leaf shaped like a finger, even matte green in tone with a single visible central midrib, soft diffused light keeping every blade one unbroken shape. All five join a widened palm-shaped section of fibrous grey-brown bark that flows continuously into the slender trunk below, and a clean wedge of pale-blue morning sky reaches down to the bark between each pair of neighbouring blades. The hand fills the upper third of the view, and the trunk rises from rippled sand with a few fallen coconuts resting at its base.
Surreal botanical photography, low frontal view, crisp focus from sand to crown, natural soft daylight, warm dune tones and deep saturated green in the five blades. The scene runs complete to every edge of the frame, the whole tree standing well inside it with clear sky and sand margin on all sides. 9:16 vertical portrait composition.
