Use screen-print treatment with a few clear ink layers, bold color separations and restrained registration character. Keep the subject readable through simplified shapes; omit halftone, distress and tiny texture unless the task explicitly requests them.
A square 1:1 frame holds a compact sheet ghost centered on a fully transparent background: every pixel around the shapes is true transparency, alpha 0, not white, not colored, no checkerboard anywhere. A real alpha channel, an isolated cutout asset for a shirt design. The ghost hovers mid-frame, its wavy hem well above the bottom edge, leaning forward with its gaze down at an upright closed book held open in both arm-flaps, the book's broken spine toward the viewer. The ghost pulls a needle with a trailing thread through a fresh stitch along the torn spine, and from the tear one loose page lifts and curls upward to the left, its outline shaped into a small second ghost with two simple dark eyes. Bold flat shapes in exactly three ink colors, a bone-cream ghost, a pumpkin-orange book and black details, sit fully inside the frame with clear padding on every side, nothing touching or cropped by any edge.
The ink layers stay flat and closed: each color prints as one solid shape with crisp edges and at most a few simple internal cuts for the eyes, mouth and tear. The thread reads as a single black line ending in a short loose tail, and three small stitch marks cross the repaired tear. The book is a plain unlettered book with blank unmarked covers and pages. No floor, table, tools beyond the needle and thread, lettering, numbers or symbols appear anywhere.
