Cover a regular open canvas mesh with compact diagonal needlepoint stitches and grouped yarn colors, leaving only slight mesh evidence at edges while keeping the image clearly stitch-built. Big shapes only: silhouette, pose, proportions, large color areas. Below fingertip scale use only needle stitches and thread blends; translate every visible surface into directional stitches. Eyes and nose, where present, are stitched thread shapes with one thread-made highlight. Thread and stitch texture visible everywhere. No photographic detail, printed surfaces, photo bits or text.
Square 1:1 frame. A green enamel watering can hangs from a nail on a weathered wooden fence post at the centre, its long spout pointing down to the left, with a row of copper staples stitched across a cracked seam on its shoulder. Behind the fence two gardens meet: on the left a bed of orange marigolds under a pale blue evening sky, on the right a bed of purple asters under a deeper violet sky, the fence line dividing them down the middle. The can fills the middle third, with the fence post running the full height of the frame.
Deep green enamel with a pale highlight, copper staples in bright orange thread, grey-brown fence wood with dark grain lines, and soft dusk light that warms the can's left side. The can and fence carry no lettering.
