Concrete jungle | concrete trees growing into city towers

Concrete jungle: a street-level architectural fantasy where weathered grey concrete trunks rise from the pavement and branch into apartment towers with broad pitted concrete leaves, all one continuous masonry structure under flat overcast daylight.

Prompt

A dense city street grows like a jungle, and every plant in it is cast from the same weathered grey concrete as the buildings. Thick concrete trunks rise from the pavement and branch upward into apartment balconies, the floor slabs spreading out from the limbs as though they grew there, with windows set deep into the concrete mass. Broad concrete leaves fan out between the towers, rough and pitted like poured cement, and a canopy of them closes over the street below. Trunks, branches, balconies and leaves are one continuous masonry structure joined without a seam: where a limb meets a building the surface carries the same grey grain, the same casting marks and the same slow staining. Overcast daylight flattens the scene, leaving soft even shadows under the canopy with pale sky showing in the gaps between the concrete crowns. The whole street is unlettered with no text anywhere in the frame, and the tree-to-building growth fills the view as a 16:9 wide composition.
